Hi y’all!! Even though I’ve been back for about a week as I post this, I still feel like I am catching up from going away! As I thought, this month was a little less book and blog focused and that’s okay. It was so nice to get away for about a week and a half. Let me fill you in on what blog and book things I did do before I tell you all about my trip!
This month I read six books with no DNF’s.
I don’t have a lot here because for the most of our trip, I didn’t read anyone’s posts! I would say I’m sorry but it was the best decsion for me and my wife so….

Again, this month because we traveled from the 6th to the 17th, we didn’t do much else other than drive and explore where we were. However, while we traveled, when we had time for TV we watched a lot of Food Network.
As soon as we got home, we signed up for Disney+ and started watching Lilo and Stitch the Series.
I also started That’s So Raven and the Tangled Series on my own. As well as, The Crown on Netflix.
We saw Frozen 2 and we both (mostly) loved it.
Obviously the biggest thing to happen to me this month was that I got married. I’m sure most of you already know this because I never stop talking about it. On November 6th, my wife and I left home with her best friend and drove down to Georgia.
The next day, we picked up my best friend from the airport. We met many years ago online and this was the first time we actually got to see each other. It was so emotional for me because I have loved this woman for what feels like forever. To know she flew out in the middle of the night for my wedding is so special to me. I spent that whole day holding onto her and gushing over the fact that she was finally there with me. I am so lucky, blessed, grateful she did this for me.
On November 8th, we said I do! It was amazing. My best friend helped me get ready and then she walked me down the aisle (again so special). I am so happy to finally be married and know that I will have Alice for the rest of our lives. After spending one more morning with our friends, we all went our separate ways and Alice and I headed to Walt Disney World.
I’ve been to WDW twice before this and Alice had never been so it was an amazing trip for us. We spent 6 days at the resort and 4 of it in the parks. We got to meet up with a friend of mine from high school which was so nice. I haven’t seen her in years so it was nice to see her again. We spent most of our time in Magic Kingdom but we made sure to explore all of the parks. We went to the Disney christmas party which was fun but I’m not sure if I would do it again.
We also saw a ton of characters, including Rapunzel who we saw FOUR times because she is my favorite princess. We finally got to dine at Be Our Guest, The Beauty and The Beast themed restaurant which I have wanted to dine in since it opened in 2012. Needless to say, I was over the moon and the food was AMAZING. We also dined at the Grand Floridian to have a character breakfast where we met Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh.
Honestly this trip was even better than I ever could have imagined it to be. Even though we had some not so great experiences, I know that when I look back on this trip, they won’t be what I think of. I know this because even just thinking of our trip and how happy I was, makes me tear up. I can’t wait to go back and we are already talking about how and when we want to.
Here are some pictures of our trip!
