I was tagged by LaRonda over at Flyingpaperbacks!
You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

I literally just walk up to the bookshelf/TBR list and pick what sounds best that day.
You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?

It totally depends on the book. How long is it? Is it an ARC, my own, borrowed? Did someone recommend it to me? What genre? There are too many variables.
The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?

The covers of a series you love do not match. How do you cope?

Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?

You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?

I’m a person who cries a lot anyway so I just cry.
A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?

Re-read all the way!!!
You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?

Honestly once I read my books and have had them for a while, unless it’s a favorite, I will let people borrow them.
You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?

If I ever get stuck or can’t read, I pick up a favorite book. There is something about the familiarity and the comfort it brings that opens me back up to other books.
There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?

After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?

*Actively avoids looking at Wicked which has been on my shelf since December* Uh, ya know, a few weeks, no longer than 2 month for sure.
Thank you again, LaRonda for the tag. I’m going to tag….

I physically felt the gif for letting your books sit on the shelf 😂

I tend to do really well most of the time but like…. If it sits for more than a month or two it’s gonna be there for a LONG time.

Love these highly accurate gif choices! Agreed very much on picking up a favorite book during a slump, and on letting friends borrow books after having them for a while.

I also don’t have many friends who will ask to borrow books so I’ve never had a bad experience

Ahh, this is so cute! I literally laughed at loud at the Harry Potter “I really don’t care” gif, that one can always make me smile and it was the perfect response to the question.😂Thank you for the tag!

I definitely don’t care about them matching 😂 I pre-ordered a book from a series last night and it’s not going to match the others but it was on sale so IDC 😂

I’m so glad some people agree with me! I also can’t imagine owning more than one of the same book but that’s just me.
