The Hate U Give was my favorite book this month, it was great buddy reading it with you! And congrats on all the books you’ve tackled in August, impressive list.
I can already tell September is not going to be nearly as successful. Maybe it’s because I’m exhausted from work or because I’m going through a period of sadness but hopefully I’m able to do at least half of what I did this month!
It’s best to take it at your own pace and doing what is right for you. It’s pretty normal to slow down from other things in the fall, I hope you can find a great balance that works for you.
Thank you Kitty ❤
I also started my blog quite recently (mid-July) so best of luck for both of us! I haven’t read as many books as you though — busy life, bookslump… You name it.
I think my favourite of this month was Spellbound by Allie Therin — it’s a gay romance in 1925 New York with a paranormal investigation going on! It was super funny and had great chemistry 😀
I started my job towards the end of the month and before that I wasn’t doing much else other than reading so that’s why! I’m pretty sure Sept is going to be a lot less productive!
I can’t believe you have been blogging for almost a month! Congratulations lady ❤ I’m so proud of you and thank you for highlighting my favorite post of all time! I so appreciate it and I can’t wait for you to read this book.
I know! Time has flown by!!! I’m so lucky to have gained you as a friend!!! 💙
I can’t wait to try The Hate U Give. I’ve just got it out of the library not long ago 😁 great wrap up and start to your blogging journey! ❤️
Thank you!! Yeah this month felt really great. I’ve never kept track of how many books I’ve read in a month so it’s nice to see it all laid out!
Well done on your first month as a blogger! And to many more months to come 🎉😁
Dana, you’re already killing the blogging game!! Congrats on one month of blogging!
Thank you!! Hopefully before I know it, it will be one year of blogging!!
Thank you so much for sharing my post, Dana! ❤
Yes! Thank you Ally!!! I’m off to a good start, I’ve already finished 3 books!!!
Congratulations on your first wrap up post and for one-month of blogging! Time flies so quickly, doesn’t it? It looks like you had an amazing reading and blogging month too 😍 Love that you also shared your favorite posts from other bloggers. Hope you continue to love blogging and continue to have great reading months!
Thank you Dini! That means so much. I got the idea of sharing them from a few other bloggers who do it weekly/monthly but I didn’t want to make it its own post. Plus what better way to support our community than sharing our favorite posts with our followers!
Congrats on reading so many books! I totally hit a slump in August and only managed to read one book (Carry On). I really hope September will be better.
I did watch a lot of The Office, too, though haha.
Michael is now gone and I see no point in waking up in the morning haha XD
I’m sorry to hear about your slump! I’ve never read Carry On, is it good? I’ll think happy thoughts for September for you 💙
I had zero expectations and I really liked it! really put me in the mood to read Harry Potter, though ahaha. Thank you! Have a wonderful September, too 💙
