I recently followed Siobhan and she had this tag so even though she didn’t tag me, I decided to do it . I’m not sure who started it but I watch a lot of netflix and thought this tag was so cool! So let’s get into it, shall we?
Recently Watched | The last book you finished
This was a pretty good book! It was 202 pages so it made a quick read. I got it off of bookbubs when it was free for Amazon Kindle. I am definitely going to look for the rest of the series since the first book ends on a cliffhanger.
Top Picks | A Book That Has Been Recommended to You Based on What You’ve Previously Read
Goodreads recommended this to me because I read It’s Not Like It’s a Secret. I actually had this on my TBR anyway so it works out!
Recently Added | Last book you purchased
I guess the last book is technically Tainted but the last book I got from the bookstore would be The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett. I actually bought it with a few others but yeah.
Popular on Netflix | Books That Everyone Knows (Two You’ve Read, and Two You Have No Interest in Reading)
The two I’ve read would have to be Harry Potter and The Book Thief. I love both of these books a lot. They both make must reads and owns for me.
So I actually had to really think about the two that I have no interest in. The two I came up with are Aurora Rising and Six of Crows! Sorry guys but they just aren’t my kind of books.
Pardon the huge images, I couldn’t figure out to change the size in the code. I also couldn’t figure out how to link the pictures so I linked the titles.
Comedies | A funny book
I’m currently listening my way through an audiobook of Dumplin and I really can’t stop laughing and smiling through the whole thing. I like it a lot more than the movie.
Animated | A Book with Cartoons on the Cover
Wicked counts, right? I got Wicked and its series for Christmas in 2018. In fact, I think I may have begged for it? Only to promptly set it on a shelf and grin before not touching it for months. I should probably start it before my aunt finds out. Hi Aunt Jessie!
Watch It Again | A Book or Series You Want to Reread
Documentaries | A Nonfiction Book You’d Recommend to Everyone
So don’t hate me, but this is another one I haven’t read yet but plan to! It’s on hold at my library, they just have ship it from somewhere else in the county. I am currently barreling my way through the last season of OITNB on Netflix (Thanks anxiety for keeping me up) so I thought when it was over, I would start the book.
Action and Adventure | An Action-Packed Book or Series
So I’m really not a series person or an action book person. I tend to read the same kind of books over and over. I’m working on stepping out of that but I haven’t gotten the chance so…. The Hunger Games series! I actually really like this series. Bonus fact, we ended up reading this in 10th grade, right after I read it for the first time. I did not reread it and did all the work by memory.
New Releases | A Book That Just Came Out or Will Be Coming Out Soon That You Can’t Wait to Read
This is my fiancee’s birthday gift but I can’t wait her for to finish it once it comes in so I can steal it. We both love Ruth Ware, in fact I think between the two of us, she may be the only auto-buy author we have!
I feel like the last person on earth who has not yet read The Hunger Games, lol. It’s on my list though! About Six Of Crows, I loved it, but I do think it would be a lot less enjoyable if the premise doesn’t sound interesting and I did benefit a lot from having read an earlier series by the author that takes place in the same universe. I might be confusing to just jump into otherwise. Also, what other Ruth Ware books do you recommend? I’ve only read The Turn of The Key by her. Great post btw!

Ooh, I loved The Book Thief!! Such a fantastic read, everyone should read it! Six of Crows is one of my favorite books, but I totally get if it’s not for you. I have a cousin who just doesn’t read fantasy, so even though I loved it, I would never recommend it for her. Aurora Rising was okay, I enjoyed it, but it’s definitely not a must-read. Loved your answers!

I’ve read The Book Thief multiple times! I feel bad about not wanting to read Six of Crows and Aurora Rising because so many people are and they all say they are very good. I feel like I am missing out even though I know I probably wouldn’t enjoy them.

I think I might be re-reading soon as well. I’ve talked about the books more in the last 2 weeks than I have in months.
